Heat applied vinyl (commonly referred to as sport film) is a specialized material that can be cut and pressed onto fabric using a heat press. The process begins by using a machine to cut out designs from rolls of coloured vinyl, then we "weed out" any part of the vinyl that is not part of the design. Finally, we heat-press the design onto a t-shirt, transferring the design onto it. Vinyl has a clean, flat appearance that mimics the look of screen printing, and is often used in place of screen print for smaller runs of simple (2-3 colour), flat designs.
