Sublimation begins by printing a full colour image onto a transfer sheet using specialized dyes. The image is then transferred onto a garment or uncut/unsewn fabric using pressure and heat. In this process, the dye that makes up the image actually infuses with the fabric, creating a seamless design. Sublimation can be used to create fully customized edge-to-edge designs, and is often used to add patterns to jerseys.
